Complete Support Sensitive contains Methylfolate (Quatrefolic®), the active form of folate that is ready for your body to use without conversion. This is especially important because 30 - 50% of women may have a genetic variation that makes converting folic acid (a more commonly used form of folate) less efficient.
Iron is an essential nutrient during pregnancy, but some women already take a separate iron supplement or have specific iron requirements best managed by their healthcare professional. Complete Support Sensitive is formulated without iron, giving you the flexibility to meet your iron needs in a way that works best for you, without compromising on other key nutrients.
Bioavailable forms like Methylfolate, Methylcobalamin (B12), and Pyridoxal-5-Phosphate (B6) are used to support optimal absorption and effectiveness, so you’re not just taking nutrients, you’re effectively absorbing them to get their full benefit.

Why It Matters
Folate (Vitamin B9) is one of the most important and well-studied nutrients in pregnancy, supporting your baby’s early development from the very start.
Complete Support Sensitive, contains 500 mcg of methylfolate, the bioactive form of vitamin B9 that your body can use directly. Unlike folic acid, which needs to be converted by the body before it becomes active, methylfolate is ready to go straight to work.
So why is this important?
An estimated 30 - 50% of the population carry MTHFR gene variations, which can reduce the efficiency of the MTHFR enzyme responsible for converting folic acid into the active form of folate. Methylfolate is already in this active form, meaning the body can use it directly without needing to be converted by the enzyme.
This makes it a thoughtful option for those who prefer a folic acid–free, bioactive form of folate.
It’s important to note that while methylfolate contributes to your overall folate intake, it should be taken as part of a prenatal plan that meets recommended folate requirements for neural tube protection.
