WELCOME TO WEEK 10

When Your Symptoms Start to Shift

This week often brings a noticeable change in how your body feels. If you’ve been dealing with nausea, tenderness, or exhaustion, you might feel those symptoms start to ease, sometimes suddenly.

And while that shift can be a huge relief, it can also feel... strange.

What’s Actually Happening?

By Week 10, your baby’s vital organs are formed. The pace of development begins to slow slightly, and your hormone levels may stabilise. These changes can lead to lighter symptoms, or, in some cases, none at all.

This is a completely normal part of early pregnancy. But that doesn’t mean it always feels that way.

When nausea or fatigue has been part of your daily rhythm, their sudden absence can leave you feeling a little unanchored. You might even start to worry 'is everything still okay?'.

Most of the time, yes. This easing is a positive sign that your body is adjusting to its new baseline. It doesn’t mean anything is wrong.

If something feels off, or if your instincts are telling you to check in, do. You never need a “good enough” reason to reach out to your health care provider. Sometimes reassurance is all you need.

Your intuition is part of your support system now, trust it.

This is often the first week where you have a little more space, physically or emotionally, to pause. It’s a good time to reconnect with your body not through symptoms, but through awareness.

You might want to:

  • Do a gentle body scan
  • Notice your breath patterns
  • Check in with how you're feeling, without judgement

Even a few minutes of inward focus can help ground you as things begin to shift.
